Bam! First draft of a new novel complete!
45,000 words! I was shooting for 50-55,000, but I'm sure it'll stretch out in the next draft.
Oh, man, this book gave me a lot of trouble, but I think it will come together very well.
What's it about? This is another bizarro novel, nothing like Felix's story. No horse dildos, no extreme sexual puns. And...no hints. Not yet. Not until I run this through another draft. Hell, I don't even have a title yet!
Glad it's over. I need a break after that marathon, and to forget about what it will take to draft this mess!
So, seven short stories pending acceptance/rejection. Two novels in progress. I think I feel alive. Yes, I'm pretty sure this is what alive feels like!
